pikeville police report1 May 2008 — The Pikeville Police responded to an accident on Saturday at Main Street and 117 South. Sarah Jane Pierce, 28, of Kenly was charged with failure to reduce speed after her 2003 GMC collided with the rear of a 2004 Chevy truck operated by Dennis Capps, 58, of Garner. Three passengers riding with Pierce were transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital where they were treated and released. Damage to the Pierce vehicle was estimated at $600 and the damage to Capps’ truck was estimated to be $500. Others charged by Pikeville Police this week include: Jessica Lynn Brogden, 18, Pikeville was cited for a seat belt violation on Sunday. James Anthony Lawson, 44, Wilson was charged with a seat belt violation on Saturday. Leonard Compton V, 17, Goldsboro was charged Friday with a stop light violation. Michael Joseph Daughtry, 32, Pikeville was cited for expired inspection on Friday. Roberto Flores Garcia, 38, Goldsboro was cited Friday for expired inspection. Francisco A Roguepillet, 66, Paterson, NJ was charged Wednesday with expired registration. Chelsea Mamie Wunders, 17, Goldsboro was charged Wednesday with a seat belt violation and no operator’s license in possession. Brandon Demarcus Haynes, 20, Pikeville was cited Tuesday with speeding 60 in a 45.
