Cobras sock Dillard

1 May 2008 — In their only game this week, the Norwayne baseball team had a three-inning win over Dillard, 25-1.

The Cobras earned a whopping 13 runs in the first inning, while their pitcher struck out the first three Dillard batters to take the plate. The Norwayne boys scored six in each of the following innings, while Dillard mustered out a run in the final inning.

Adam had two hits for the Cobras, including a double and a triple. Bryant Stafford, Justin Barbour, Brett Bartlett and Cameron Taylor each contributed a double.

The Cobras travel to Rosewood on Thursday, and host Eastern Wayne to end their season next Monday.
