Tennis team in top seed
1 May 2008 — The Aycock men’s tennis team secured the top spot in the conference with a 7-2 victory over Eastern Wayne on Wednesday.
Blake Vail, Addison Westbrook, Ben Nichols, and Dylan Quinn all earned singles wins for the Falcons. All three doubles teams had wins as well.
The Falcon boys followed with a 9-0 sweep of Southern Wayne on Thursday, earning the top seed for the NC High School Athletic Association playoffs.
