Aycock girls fall to Princeton10 April 2008 — The Aycock girls’ soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Princeton on Wednesday. The Princeton ladies scored early on, slipping a kick past Aycock goalkeeper Courtney Sheeks in the first half of the match. After limiting the Falcons’ scoring opportunities throughout the second half and holding their opponents to zero, the Lady Dawgs finished with the victory. The ladies fell to Beddingfield on Friday with a 3-0 final score. After an early scoring goal, the Bruins tacked on two more goals in the second half for the victory. Sheeks had nine saves for the game, and the Falcons took 11 shots on the Beddingfield goal. The team is 3-7 overall and 2-4 for the conference. They travel to Princeton on Wednesday evening.
