3 April 2008 — The Pikeville Police Department reported the following incidents:

Angelene Johnson, 40, of Pikeville reported damage to property at her home on Booker Street last Monday. Ms. Johnson said she came home from work and noticed a window on her house had been damaged.

Paul Lee, 45, of Goldsboro reported a digital game camera had been stolen. Mr. Lee said he had mounted the camera in a wooded area off of Booker Street. He left, and when he came back he said the cable to the $250 camera had been cut and the camera was missing.

Tyler Dyane Royall, 19, of Goldsboro and William Travis Overby, 26, of Goldsboro were involved in an accident at the intersection of Highway 117 and Main Street on Saturday. Mr. Overby’s vehicle was traveling straight on 117 heading south when Mr. Royall attempted to turn left onto Main Street from 117 North and collided with Mr. Overby’s vehicle. Mr. Overby’s 1997 sustained an estimated $5,000 worth of damages. Mr. Royall’s 1987 Toyota sustained and estimated $1,700 in damages, and he was cited for failure to yield.
