Aycock tennis team bounces back

20 March 2008 — The Aycock men’s tennis team had a 7-2 loss at home to Southern Nash last Tuesday.

Blake Vail and Blake Cooper won the two matches for Aycock in singles play.

But the boys bounced back from that loss on Wednesday night with a 9-0 sweep of visiting Fike.

Vail, Cooper, Addison Westbrook, Ben Evans, Ben Nichols, and Dylan Quinn each defeated their opponents in straight sets.

In doubles matches, the three pairs Vail-Cooper, Westbrook-Quinn, and Evans-Nichols each had 8-2 wins.
