Aycock girls fall to Greenville Rose

13 March 2008 — The Aycock girls’ soccer team had a close loss at Greenville Rose on Wednesday, falling 2-1.

Greenville Rose got the first goal of the game, while allowing no score from Aycock during the first half. Taylor DeMartini had her first career goal to earn a point for Aycock during the second half, but a second goal for Greenville earned them the win.

Last Friday’s match against South Central was postponed due to rain.

The ladies took on Beddingfield Tuesday evening. The results will be in next week’s News Leader.
