pikeville police report

14 February 2008 — The Pikeville Police Department reported the following incidents:

Showenell Christina Ezzelle, 31, of Pikeville reported breaking and entering, injury to personal property, and domestic assault at her home on Thursday. She told officers that the suspect had broke into her residence because he was looking for his girlfriend, who was also in the home. A bathroom towel rack was reported broken. The second woman, Keri Dean Howell, 25, of Princeton, also reported that she was assaulted by the suspect during a confrontation after the break-in occurred.

A hit-and-run occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Highway 117 on Monday. Angela Monique Collins, 35, of Pikeville ran a red light and attempted to make a left turn onto Highway 117 when her vehicle struck the vehicle of Adell Faison Williams, 52, of Wilson. Ms. Williams reported that following the collision, Ms. Collins exited the vehicle and verbally confronted her. She said that Ms. Collins then got back into her vehicle and drove away.

A short time later, her vehicle was located at a home on Booker Street using the description Ms. Williams provided. The homeowner said he was Ms. Collins’ son, and she had been driving the vehicle earlier. Ms. Collins’ 1997 Buick sustained an estimated $600 in damages, and she was charged with no operator’s license, no insurance, a stop light violation, and a hit and run. Ms. Williams’ 2000 Ford sustained an estimated $3,000 in damages.

Timothy Earl Newsome, 37, of Fremont was arrested on Monday for probation violation. Officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a Pikeville home, and discovered an outstanding warrant on Mr. Newsome. He was arrested and held under a $500 secured bond at the Wayne County Jail.

Joseph Waylon Millard, 24, of Fremont was arrested on January 2 and charged with fictitious tags, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an open container violation. He taken to the Wayne County Jail and placed under an $800 bond.

His passenger, Crystal Elizabeth Lefkowitz, 25, of Pikeville was also arrested. Ms. Lefkowitz was charged with resisting, delaying, or obstructing an officer. During a search of the vehicle, Ms. Lefokwitz was instructed to stay behind the vehicle with her hands on the hood, but she repeatedly disobeyed. She was also allegedly loud and disruptive, resulting in her arrest.

Michael David Atkinson, 26, of Goldsboro reported damage to a vehicle belonging to Claude Cramer Parker, 65, of Goldsboro on Main Street Wednesday. Mr. Atkinson had placed a ladder against a pole after installing a cable, but when he went to move the ladder he said the wind blew it out of his hands. The ladder scratched Mr. Parker’s vehicle as he was driving by. Mr. Parker’s Toyota sustained an estimated $3,500 worth of damages.
