pikeville police report7 February 2008 — Someone passed a counterfeit $20 bill at the Family Dollar in Pikeville last Monday. Jackie Hill of Pikeville said she was working at the store when someone passed the bill to pay for a purchase. The suspect received change and left the store; Ms. Hill said the bill wasn’t discovered to be counterfeit until later in the day when she was counting money for a deposit. The Pikeville Police Department also issued the following citations: Chiuho Hui, 16, of Goldsboro was cited on Wednesday for driving 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. Jenny Lyn Cox, 16, of Pikeville was cited for running a red light last Friday. Joey Stanley, 24, of Goldsboro was charged with expired registration and driving while license revoked on Thursday.
