JAYLEE GRACE O'CALLAGHAN

Jaylee Grace O'Callaghan, 3 1/2-month-old daughter of Ben and Jamie O'Callaghan of Pikeville, died Saturday, February 2 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 6 at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Grady and the Rev. Chrystal McCullen officiating. Interment will be today (Thursday) at 11 a.m. at the Gurley Family Cemetery, located behind the family home.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Noah O'Callaghan; her maternal grandparents, Johnny and Terry Radford of Pikeville; her paternal grandparents, Valentine and Laura O'Callaghan of Plainwell, Mich.; her maternal great-grandparents, Peggy and John William Gurley of Pikeville; her paternal great-grandparents, Sheila Campbell of Plainwell, Mich., Valentine and Jo O'Callaghan of Florida; her uncles, John Radford and Natalie and their son, Tylan, Valentine O'Callaghan IV and Taylor O'Callaghan and wife, Brandi Miller. She is also survived by many other cousins and relatives.

The family received friends Wednesday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at 5774 Wayne Memorial Drive, Pikeville.

OCTAVIUS A. ROWE

Octavius A. Rowe, 64, of Atlanta, formerly of Wayne County, died Tuesday, February 5 in Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9 at the St. James Church of Christ in Fremont with the Rev. Angela Garner and the Rev. Tony Sutton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Old Mill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Rowe of Boston, Mass.; sons, Owezo Rowe of Atlanta, Ga., Aquil Rowe of Detroit, Mich., Osalih Rowe of Boston, Mass., Nwanza Omar Nzuriwatu of Boston, Mass.; brothers, Jessie Rowe of Greensboro, Hersel Rowe of Goldsboro.

Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Friday, February 8 with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, Goldsboro.
