Falcons can't take down S. Wayne

31 January 2008 — The Aycock boys fell to Southern Wayne Friday night in a 67-43 loss.

The Falcons were in reach of matching the Saints at the end of the first period, ending only four points behind their opponents. But as the second period commenced the Saints maintained control of the ball, earning 23 more points while limiting the Falcons to six.

Aycock stepped up in the final periods, earning 16 to Southern Wayne’s 13 in the third period, but they couldn’t quite get control of the Saints, finishing 14 points behind.

Khendre Reid had 11 points for the night, while Jordan Riley had eight and Andre Bryant had seven. Kyle LaFlamme had five, and Artis and Devone Newsome each contributed three. Jonathan Williams and Michael King each had two points.

The Falcons will host Beddingfield on Friday night.
