17 January 2008 — A fender bender occurred in the Fast Break parking lot this past week.

On Friday, Brenda Ethridge McArthur of Carrboro Rd in Fremont was backing out of a parking space at the Fast Break and failed to see the vehicle of D.H. Hobbs, Jr. of Eureka attempting to park. Mrs. McArthur’s vehicle struck Mr. Hobbs’. Mrs. McArthur’s 1998 Ford sustained an estimated $500 in damages, and Mr. Hobbs’ 1993 Buick sustained an estimated $500 as well.

The Fremont Police Department also reported the following incidents:

Francisco Hipolito Flores was cited for a stop sign violation on January 10.

Bryant Stafford, Heyward Jeffreys and Scott Stafford were cited for underage drinking on January 12.

Francine Jones was arrested on January 12 for resisting arrest, assault of an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Allen Maready was arrested for an open container violation and resisting and delaying an officer on January 12.

Santonio Marcellus Exum was arrested for possession of marijuana on January 11.

Ryan Mathew Werkmeister was cited for no insurance on January 11.

Paige Kandelani Tibbs was arrested for driving while impaired and failure to carry a driver’s license on January 11.
