Glover, Lane wed in December ceremony

13 December 2007 – Mindy Ann Glover and William Leon (Will) Lane, Jr. exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony on December 8 at 5:30. The ceremony was held at the home of the bride under a forest of lights in an outdoor winter wonderland. The Rev. Berry Stallings officiated, assisted by Rev. David Allen.

The bride is the daughter of David and Becky Glover of Pikeville. She is the granddaughter of Alton Parnell and the late Pat Parnell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Glover. Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of white matte satin featuring a Queen Anne sweetheart neckline, accented with heavily beaded long sleeves that tapered at the wrist. The bodice was enhanced with Alencon lace decorated with seed pearls and highlighted with a Basque waistline. The back of the gown featured a sheer overlay covered with crystal beading and finished with satin covered buttons. The full ballroom skirt was embellished with matching Alencon lace appliqués and a scalloped hemline that flowed into a Castillian length train.
