wayne co sheriff's report

29 November 2007 – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents:

On November 24, Gregory Eugene Walker, 36, of Big Daddy’s Road in Pikeville reported the theft of a green club golf car lift kit. The kit, valued at $3,500, was taken from his front yard.

Jessie Miller Langley, 37, of Faro Road in Fremont reported breaking and entering and larceny at her home on November 23. She reported that four guns, a television, home computer, printer, Playstation game system along with games and two game guitars, a VCR and DVD player were all stolen from the residence.

Darian Todd Grimes, 42, and Christy Price, 33, of Jones Street in Eureka reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on November 23. Ms. Price’s purse was located inside Mr. Grimes’ vehicle and was stolen. Along with the purse, NC drivers’ licenses, a Visa credit card, check book, cell phone, and a key to the vehicle were reported missing.

Brandy Saylor Wallace, 28, of Deer Track Trail in Pikeville reported on November 24 that a tree and two “No Trespassing” signs had been spray painted on the property.

Edward Devon Joyner, 39, of Booker Street in Pikeville was arrested on November 29 for second degree trespassing and injury to personal property.

Derick Williamson, 25, of Joy Avenue in Pikeville was arrested on November 19 for speeding and license not in possession. He was released on a $500 secured bond.

Samuel Rodriguez Ramirez, 22, of Boniford Drive in Pikeville was arrested on November 21 for driving while license revoked and fictitious registration. He was placed under a $2,000 secured bond.

Natalya Shakeeta Kornegay, 26, of Kalima Place in Pikeville reported larceny at her home on November 21. The entire doorknob on her front door had  been removed and taken, Ms. Kornegay told officers.

Thomas Ray Dupont reported breaking and entering at his home on November 20. the incident resulted in approximately $100 worth of damage to the home.

Stephen Ronshea Jones, 22, of Vance Street in Fremont was arrested on November 16 for possession of marijuana up to half an ounce. He was held in lieu of a $2,500 secured bond.

Nelson Nash Riggs, 68, of Hinnant Road reported on November 19 breaking and entering of a shed on his property. He reported four drills, two saws, a staple gun, 2 nail guns, an air compressor, and a leaf blower had been stolen from the building.

Montana Antwan Best, 25, of Decoy Drive in Pikeville was arrested on November 15 for injury to real property, and was released on a written promise to appear.

David Miguel Minard, 16, of Lancaster Road was arrested on outstanding warrants November 14.

Patsy Martin Gurley, 48, of Wilbert Lane in Pikeville reported damage to property at an abandoned residence. She told officers that the house had been shot at, damaging front and rear windows, walls, a picture, the front door, siding, and a satellite dish.

Brenda Lee Staton, 45,of Ivey Lane in Pikeville was arrested for domestic assault on November 15, and was held without bond.
