Hardison, Benfield wed

15 November 2007 — Mary Elizabeth Hardison and Mark Daniel Benfield were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on September 15, 2007, on Carolina Beach. Danny Benfield officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride, of Raleigh, is the daughter of Jim and Carol Hardison of Fremont. She is a 2000 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School.

The groom, also of Raleigh, is the son of Danny and Ellen Benfield of Raleigh. He is a 1999 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Her bridesmaids were Alecia Notarcola, Christina Glenn, Amber Bundy, and Jennifer Lawhorn.

Groomsmen were Michael Benfield, Julian Fritz, Bryan Hales, and Jay Stewart.

The reception was held at High Tide Lounge, Carolina Beach.

Following a wedding trip to Sandals Resort in St. Lucia, the couple reside in Raleigh.
