stantonsburg police report

8 November 2007 — The Stantonsburg Police Department reported the following incidents:

James Wesley Best, 54, of Pope Farm Road was arrested and charged with theft. He allegedly stole six packs of light bulbs, totaling $24.64, from the Piggly Wiggly.

Daniel Lynn Tripp, 45, of Old Stantonsburg Road was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and driving while license revoked.

Barbara Moore Dantonio, 59, of Julian Avenue reported a case of forging and uttering on October 29. Ms. Dantonio told officers that her boyfriend had forged her signature on a check without her permission.

Daniel Lynn Tripp was arrested again on Tuesday for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no vehicle insurance, and expired registration on his vehicle.

John Edward Hardison was arrested for vandalism of a town police car. The vandalism, which caused under $200 to the vehicle, occurred in early October, and Mr. Hardison was arrested last week.
