highway patrol report

8 November 2007 — The North Carolina Highway Patrol reported the following accidents:

Terry Glenn Narron, 44, of Kenly was involved in a single vehicle accident on SR 1336 November 3. His vehicle was traveling east when it ran off the road to the right. It then crossed back onto the roadway, crossed the center line, and went off the road to the left. The vehicle then struck a ditch and overturned. The 1997 Ford sustained an estimated $4,500 worth of damages, and Mr. Narron was cited for left of center.

Mark David Herron, 18, of Goldsboro was involved in an accident on November 1. He was traveling east on SR 1320 when his vehicle ran off the road to the right. It struck a ditch and driveway culvert, and then went airborne and overturned. Mr. Herron was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital, and the 1998 Chevrolet sustained an estimated $5,000 worth of damages. Mr. Herron was cited for failure to maintain lane control.
