Glover, Lane to wed in December
8 November 2007 — Mr. and Mrs. David Glover of Pikeville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mindy Ann Glover of Pikeville, to William Leon Lane, Jr. of Pikeville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alton Parnell and the late Mantha Lee "Pat" Parnell, and the late Raymond and Ethel Glover. She is employed as an Instructional Assistant with Northwest Elementary School, and is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with the Wachovia Partnership East Program at East Carolina University. Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lane, Sr. of Rockwell, and the grandson of Bonnie Lee and the late Billy Ray Adams, and the late Frank Leon and Annie Lee Lane. He is a professional gospel singer with the Driven Quartet, based out of Charlotte. The wedding is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on December 8 at the home of the bride, in Pikeville. Family and friends are invited to attend.
