Cobras finish season tonight

1 November 2007 — The Lady Cobras finished conference play this week, securing a perfect 5-0 record and the conference championships. The girls will finish their season this week, entering their last game with a 13-0 record.

Wednesday afternoon, the girls won out against Dillard in three games. Final scores were 25-12, 25-5, and 25-9. Misti Edwards scored 20 service points, and Rachel Jordan had 11.

The next day, the ladies outscored Eastern Wayne in three games, winning 25-9, 25-13, and 25-16. Connor Davis had 20 service points, and Imari Howell had 13.

The ladies finished off the week with a three-game win against Grantham on Monday, winning 25-4, 25-12, and 25-10. Davis led with 14 service points, Howell had 11, and Reagan Herndon had nine.

The Norwayne volleyball team will finish their season on Thursday at Rosewood.
