Pigskin results

25 October 2007 — The upsets got everyone on last week’s Pigskin Pickin’ Contest.

No one was able to successfully pick all six right, many missing the Virginia win over Maryland, Miami’s win over Florida State, or NC State beating ECU.

Four were able to get through with only one miss, throwing last week’s contest again to the tie-breaker.

Nathaniel L. Sanders Jr. of Clayton came through with a 31-24 prediction, seven points away from the actual 34-20 final, to win the prize tickets to the UAB at ECU game Saturday.

His prediction beat out David Jordan, Curtis Neal and Danny Tillman for the prize.

Runner-up honors go to: Eddie Davis, Valerie Howell, Devone Jones, Sherrie Jordan, Lewis Craig Partin, Jay Shackleford, Billy Suggs, Denny Tart, Stephen Tart and Eddie Yelverton.

Honorable mentions this week go to: Linda Babb, James Ballance, Daisy Best, Eddie Davis, Brady Grantham, H.T. Grantham, David Hill, Lorenzo Jackson, Sherrie Jordan, Chris Keen, Mario Re, Bret Robinson, Todd Rose, Abbie Shackleford, Jim Shackleford, Matt Spence and Lee Toler.

This week a couple of tickets to the Tulane at ECU game on November 24th at 1 p.m. are being offered.

Please remember, one entry per physical address. You can’t win without an entry, but you can’t increase your chances with multiple entries either. Cut out the entry blank in this week’s paper and mail in before 5 p.m. Friday, bring it by our office before 5 p.m. Friday, or enter online before 5 p.m. Friday.
