25 October 2007 — The Charles B. Aycock soccer team finished up a perfect conference season on Wednesday, and followed up with another win in the Eastern Carolina Conference semi-finals on Monday.

They earned their tenth and final conference win with an 8-0 shutout against Southern Wayne Wednesday night. The boys earned a 4-0 lead by the half, and knocked in four more to take the big win. The defense played a tight game, allowing only three shots from Southern Wayne for the night.

Jorge Delgado, Thomas Oliver, and Tucker Pearson each had two goals for the night. David Burke and Andrew Musselman each had one goal. Tyler Ruffin had four assists, and Pearson had two, while Oliver and Alex Rodriguez had one assist each. In the goal, Brandon Davis had one save.

The win put the Falcons at 15-2-1 overall for the season and 10-0 for the conference.

The boys started conference playoffs with a 3-0 win over Kinston. Delgado, Pearson, and Rodriguez each had a score. Burke had two assists, and Ruffin had one. Davis had five saves.
