CBA clinches ECC championship

18 October 2007 — Aycock continued their domination of conference soccer, cinching their third straight Eastern Carolina Conference championship with a 3-0 win at Eastern Wayne Monday.

That followed a 7-2 win over Hunt at Aycock last Wednesday.

CBA’s Jorge Delgado broke open a tight match with two goals early in the second half Monday. Alex Rodriguez has posted the Falcons to a 1-0 early lead.

Last Wednesday the Falcons wore out the Hunt goalkeeper with five first half goals. Rodriguez ended the night with four goals, while Delgado got another and Tucker Pearson added two goals.

The Falcons are 9-0 in conference play, 14-2-1 in all matches.
