Another soccer win for CBA

11 October 2007

The Aycock men’s soccer team continued their winning pattern this week, with two conference wins.
The Falcons staked a huge win on Wednesday night against Beddingfield, defeating the Bruins 7-1. Alex Rodrigues paced the Falcons with two goals and two assits. Tyler Pearson also earned two goals for the night, and Gavin Forrest, Jorge Delgado, and Ruffin each had one goal apiece. David Burke also recorded one assist.
Goalkeeper Brandon Davis had three saves for the Aycock boys.
Monday night the boys chalked up another win with a 3-0 defeat of Kinston. Though the score was close, the Falcons pummeled the Viking’s goal with 25 shots, while Kinston only took three shots at the goal.
Pearson, Forrest, and Delgado each had one goal, while Rodriguez had two assists and Ruffin had one.
The wins bring the boys to 12-2-1 overall and a perfect 7-0 for the season. They were set to play Hunt at CBA on Wednesday night.
