Gurley Dairy Road theft arrest

4 October 2007 — Two Pikeville men have been arrested on theft charges by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Anthony Vincent Curatolo, 16, of Pikeville, was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, and felony possession of goods, and released to the custody of his parents. His arrest was the result of an investigation into the breaking and entering of a farm shop off Gurley Dairy Road on September 19. The property, a golf cart, has been recovered, and Curatolo was charged. More arrests in this case are pending.

Marques Antwan Blackman, 28, of 115 Stoneglenn Road, Pikeville, was arrested and charged with first degree burglary and two counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. He was placed under $1000 bond. Blackman was arrested after a homeowner observed him going through two vehicles on their property, at night. One vehicle was parked in an enclosed garage attached to the residence.
