Runners come in first
27 September 2007 — Runners for the Charles B. Aycock Cross Country team earned first place spots in conference championships this week, as well as coming in second overall for the girls’ competition and third for the boys.
Caroline Schlaeppi earned the title of girl’s individual champion with a 23:39 completion time. Aycock’s Megan Hales earned third with 24:35.
On the boys’ side, Nik Frederick of Aycock earned first place rights with a time of 18:45.
