JV boys fall to N. Lenoir

27 September 2007 — While the varsity boys earned their first season win over North Lenoir this week, the JV suffered a 30-14 loss to North Lenoir.

North Lenoir claimed an early lead, with a touchdown and a two-point conversion in the first quarter. The Falcons had touchdowns in the first and third, but couldn’t limit the North Lenoir offense, who had scoring drives in three of the four quarters.

Matthew Woodard led the Falcons rushing, with 65 yards and one of the night’s touchdowns. Shalando McBride scored the other touchdown, and had 15 yards on the ground.
