fremont police report20 September 2007 — Three juveniles and three men were arrested in connection with a breaking and entering and larceny on Goldsboro Street over Labor Day weekend. The residence was broken into on September second, and over $3,000 worth of property was reported stolen. Mixer boards, a Dell laptop, a flat screen computer monitor, two pairs of Air Force One tennis shoes, microphones, Playstation 2 games, DVD movies, and clothes were reported stolen. On Thursday, Steven mark Farmer was arrested for felony breaking and entering and posession of stolen goods. Tony Ray Farmer, Kentrell E. Alston were arrested on the same charges on Friday. Three juveniles were also arrested on Friday for felony breaking and entering. Traffic was also detoured this week for three hours after a tractor-trailer struck a utility pole at the corner of Wilson and Branch Streets. The damage to the pole cost an estimated $5,000. The truck driver left the scene, but Chief Rawlings was able to use a witness to locate the driver, Joseph Shannon Smith was charged with improper turn and inattention. The Fremont Police Department also filed the following charges: Kevin D. Pollard was cited on Tuesday for a handicap parking violation. Toney Lee Ezzell was cited on Saturday for no operator's license. Jose Nestor Becerra was cited on Friday for no operator's license Heather Pierce was cited on Saturday for disorderly conduct. Leroy Murchison was cited for second degree trespassing on Sunday. |
