Lady Falcons beat Kinston  

13 September 2007 — The Lady Falcons varsity tennis team continued with another conference win on Thursday, beating Kinston 9-0.

The ladies swept the competition, allowing Kinston to only score a handful of points against them. Third seed Emilee Quinn and fifth seed Lauren Pierce each won two matches 6-0.

The ladies performed similarly in doubles, with the duo of Kristen Prosser and Jessica Davis allowing the only points, winning 8-2.

The win brings the Aycock ladies to 2-0 for the conference and 6-3 overall. They traveled to Wilson Hunt Tuesday night.

The JV ladies also picked up a 9-0 win against North Lenoir on Wednesday. Hollie Baker, Abbey Strickland, Haley Taylor and Bailey Dickens swept the competition, winning 8-0. In doubles, the ladies didn’t allow a single point from the competition.

The junior varsity hosted Greene Central Tuesday night.
