stantonsburg police report9 August 2007 — The Stantonsburg Police Department received a report of an attempted breaking and entering at a home on N. Main Street August 2. Angela Barnes, the homeowner, reported damage indicating an attempted breaking and entering had shown up on her house windows. It appeared that someone had tried to pry open two windows with a screwdriver. The damage is estimated between $175 and $200. The Stantonsburg Police Department also issued the following citations: Linda Smith Herring, 57, of La Grange was cited for speeding on July 24. She was cited on Main Street for going 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Joseph Dewayne Whitley, 27, of Wilson was cited on July 24 for driving while license revoked and expired inspection stickers. Ted C. Gryzbek, 44, of Goldsboro was cited on July 25 for speeding. He was cited on Main Street for going 42 mph in a 35 mph zone. Ellis Jermaine Rodgers, 19, of Snow Hill was cited on July 23 for speeding. He was going 60 mph in a 45 mph zone on Moyton Avenue. Jorgeduardo Bellins-Velasquez was cited on Sandpit Road on July 27. He was issued a citation for failure to stop at a flashing red light. Janet Baker Williams, 25, of Wilson was cited on July 28 on Main Street. She was cited for speeding, going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone, and displaying fictitious registration plates. Donald Barrons, 50, of Wilson was cited for speeding on Main Street July 28. He was cited for going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone. Christopher Gordon Mozingo, 33, of Goldsboro was cited on July 28 for speeding. He was cited on Main Street for going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone. Freda Lasharon Lane, 26, of Goldsboro was issued a citation on July 28 for speeding. She was cited for going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on Main Street.
