FFA adds water feature to campuswayne county sheriff's reportA missing person was reported on Monday morning. Brittany Keisade Webb, 21, of Wilson was reported missing by friends and family. Ms. Webb was last seen on Friday at a convenience store in Pikeville. Dennis Keith Bass, 45, of Lindell Road in Stantonsburg reported a larceny at his home. Mr. Bass reported a variety of tools, worth an estimated $1,410, as well as $200 in change was stolen from his home. Officers responded to a domestic dispute at a home on Stoney Creek Church Road on Sunday. A female victim reported that she had been pushed and prevented from leaving the home, while a male victim reported assault. pikeville police reportThe Pikeville Police Department reports answering 284 calls for service during the month of July, resulting in five arrests. The department also assisted other agencies on 21 calls. The department also issued 67 citations, including 29 speeding tickets and 14 citations for registration violations. The department also issued seven citations for driving while license revoked, one citation for reckless driving, three citations for stoplight or stop sign violations, and four citations for seatbelt violations. fremont police reportThe Fremont Police Department issued the following citations this week: Tony Jermaine Lewis was stopped for a stop sign violation on August 3 when officers discovered there were warrants out for Mr. Lewis. He was charged with resisting and delaying an officer, and a warrant for failure to appear for harassing phone calls was also served. He was arrested and taken to the Wayne County Jail. On August 1, Francisco Mendez was cited for driving with no operator’s license. Israel Hernandez was cited on August 1 for multiple violations. He was charged with a registration violation, resisting and delaying an officer, no operator’s license, and consuming alcohol while driving. David Earl Eatman was cited on August 3 for an insurance violation. Powerhockey at CBAThe Carolina Fury will hold a powerhockey exhibition game on Saturday, August 11 at 7 p.m. at Charles B. Aycock High School. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and admission is $5. Concessions will be available, and a silent cake auction will be held. The Fury will play against the front office staff of the Carolina Hurricanes. All funds raised by the event will go to promote and develop powerhockey, so that people with disabilities have a chance to participate in a team sport.
