WCC Notary Training

26 July 2007 — Wayne Community College Continuing Education will offer five two-session Notary Public courses this fall.

The courses will be held from 6-9 p.m. in Room 204 of the Azalea Building on the main campus in Goldsboro on Wednesdays, August 22 and 29, September 12 and 19, October 10 and 17, and November 7 and 14, in Azalea 204, and one session will be taught from 1-4 p.m. in Room 206 of the Spruce Building on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5. These are different from those listed in the printed course schedule, which gave incorrect times and dates.

The course teaches the proper procedures and duties of a notary public of the State of North Carolina and is required for application for a commission as a notary public.

Students can register and pay the $50 fee at any time in the Continuing Education Department in the Walnut Building or at the first class meeting. Space is limited and this class is popular, so students are advised to sign up as soon as possible to guarantee a seat. Call Carlos Cotto at (919) 735-5151 for more information.
