Stafford, Spell to wed

19 July 2007 — Curtis and Joan Stafford of Pikeville announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Dale Stafford, to Ryan Christopher Spell.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Linda Brock and the late William Earl Brock of Pikeville, and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Stafford and the late Dewitt Stafford of Pikeville. She is a 2002 graduate of Charles B. Aycock and a 2006 graduate of Campbell University, where she received a degree in Elementary Education. She is employed as a teacher by Wayne County Schools.

Her fiancé is the son of Randy and Susan Spell of Atlanta, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Resin Cass Spell and the late Ellen Spell of Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Taylor of Georgia. He graduated from Charles B. Aycock in 2002 and Appalachian State University in 2006 with a degree in Music Education. He is employed as a teacher by Wayne County Schools.

The wedding is scheduled for August 4, 2007 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro, 1101 E. Ash Street. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
