19 July 2007 — The Fremont Police Department reported the following incidents:

Melvin Sutton, 53, of Goldsboro Street was arrested on Sunday for simple assault and communicating threats. He was taken to the Wayne County Jail and held in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Samuel McKnight, 46, of South Vance Street was arrested on Sunday for simple assault and resisting a public officer. He was taken to the Wayne County Jail and placed under a $3,000 bond.

Mario Gomez, 32, of Wilson Street was arrested on July 7 for a simple affray. He was taken to jail and placed under a $1,000 bond.

Alvin Jamal Elliot, 20, of Dickenson Street was arrested for misdemeanor simple possession and concealed weapon. He was placed under a $500 bond at the Wayne County Jail.

Nacarrias Tronta Jones, 25, of Branch Street was arrested for felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor resisting a public officer. He was taken to the Wayne County Jail and placed under a $5,000 bond.

David Griffin was issued a citation on Tuesday for a seat belt violation.

Damon Antwon Coley was cited for expired registration on Tuesday.

William Browne was cited on Monday for a seat belt violation and no operator’s license.

Major Tillman was issued a citation on Saturday for simple possession and no operator’s license.

Melody Hinnant was issued a citation last Friday for exceeding a safe speed.

Shahera Barnes was cited last Thursday for a window tint violation.

Randall L. Scott was cited last Thursday for no operator’s license.
