Pikeville burglary arrest made

12 July 2007 — A Pikeville man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, after investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.

Cory Bruce Yancey, 114 Sir Richards Drive, Pikeville, was arrested after an investigation was conducted into a break-in on a residence on Sir Richards Drive. The total amount of property stolen was $9715. Most of the property has been recovered and returned to the owner. Yancey was charged with breaking and entering and larceny, and possession of stolen property. He was held under $10,000 unsecured bond.
