Saturday, July 14 — Summerfest 2007 at Waynesborough Historical Village, 801 Highway 117 South Bypass, Goldsboro, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Music, games, and contests will be part of the festivities. Admission is free.
Monday, July 16 — Blood drive at Eureka United Methodist Church, 2:30 – 7 p.m. Please contact Mamie Chase at 242-5524 to sign up.
Tuesday, July 17 — Barbecue chicken dinner at the field Fremont Library to fund necessary library renovations, starting at 11 a.m. Plates will be $6 each, and sold out in just over an hour for the last fundraiser, so come early.
Goldsboro will also hold its annual Ice Cream Social and Pet Parade on Tuesday, starting at the Pedestrian Plaza (Chestnut and S. Center Streets) from 4-6 p.m.
