Johnson lands fellowship

Megan Noel Johnson of North Carolina State University, a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the College of Design’s Professional Architecture program, has joined Shepley Bulfinch Richardson & Abbott as the firm’s 10th Annual Summer Design Fellow.
Megan was selected for the ten-week Fellowship with the 133-year old Boston firm from a pool of applicants drawn from the nation’s top architectural schools. To give her the richest and most diverse experience at Shepley Bulfinch, she will work with a series of different teams on of current design projects during her Fellowship.
Miss Johnson, of Fremont, also attended North Carolina State as an undergraduate, receiving a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture degree in 2005. Following graduation, she worked for Ligon Flynn Architects of Wilmington, where she entered a local green design competition and worked with the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). She is an accomplished artist as well as a competitive triathlete.
