Beddingfield falls at Fike, 9-2
Improving Beddingfield lost at Fike Friday as they ended their Easter break, 9-2.
Freshman Travis Lucas pitched a strong fifth inning for the Bruins, striking out two of the three Fike batters he faced, as he retired all three.
The pitching was not all that bad, limiting Fike to justseven hits, but the Bruins committed six errors.
Aaron Dew and Marqui Ransome each had two hits for Beddingfield.
